Hithium is investing <span class=\"xn-money\">$100 million<\/span> into the 483,874 square-foot facility, which is anticipated to add <span id=\"spanHghlt7ce9\">141<\/span>\u00a0manufacturing jobs to the <span class=\"xn-location\">City of Mesquite<\/span> in 5 years.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-location\">Mesquite<\/span> Mayor <span class=\"xn-person\">Daniel Alem\u00e1n<\/span>, Jr. said that Hithium&#8217;s announcement carries international as well as local significance. &#8220;We are very proud that a global company in the clean energy industry will make its home in <span class=\"xn-location\">Mesquite<\/span> for its first U.S. production location,&#8221; Mayor Alem\u00e1n said. &#8220;Also, this is an exciting development for our community as we continue to grow in <span class=\"xn-location\">Kaufman County<\/span>.
