Exercise of Procurement Option under Current Contract Reflects Continuing Action to Enhance Orthopoxvirus Preparedness<\/em><\/p>\n

NEW YORK, July 19, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SIGA Technologies, Inc.\u00a0(SIGA) (NASDAQ: SIGA), a commercial-stage pharmaceutical company, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services exercised a procurement option for the delivery of approximately\u00a0$113 million of oral TPOXX\u00ae<\/sup> treatment courses.<\/p>\n
