Artist-Curated Playlists and Psychedelic Education Come Together to Inspire Safe, Intentional Exploration<\/em><\/p>\n

WASHINGTON, Dec. 09, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS)<\/u><\/a>, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit pioneering research and education around psychedelics and cannabis, announced the launch of \u201cMusic is the Bridge<\/u><\/a>,\u201d blending artist-curated playlists with essential psychedelic education to inspire intentional exploration \u2013 paving the way for a future where psychedelics are accessible, understood and embraced as tools for treating mental health.<\/p>\n

Music is the Bridge features playlists from top artists and organizations such as Lil Yachty<\/u><\/a>, Melissa Etheridge<\/u><\/a>, Brandon Boyd<\/u><\/a>, Reggie Watts<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0CloZee<\/u><\/a>, Boreta<\/u><\/a>, Superposition<\/u><\/a>, Good Trip Studios<\/u><\/a>, East Forest<\/u><\/a>, Dr. Bronner\u2019s<\/u><\/a> as well as MAPS Founder and President Rick Doblin <\/u><\/a>aka \u201cDJ Doblin.\u201d The songs on each playlist<\/u><\/a> have been hand-selected to set the mood musically for psychedelic experiences, integration sessions<\/u><\/a>, and everyday listening.<\/p>\n

In addition to the playlists, which MAPS will update each month, Music is the Bridge offers educational resources at no charge, including a complimentary introductory course guiding newcomers through the basics of psychedelics via a series of short, easy-to-follow lessons, Psychedelic Fundamentals<\/u><\/a> (MSRP: $29). Within a couple of hours, Fundamentals<\/em> provides students with a broad overview of the most interesting and important aspects of psychedelic history, science, clinical research, therapeutic uses, and harm reduction, backed by more than 35+ years of MAPS experience. The MAPS Integration Station<\/u><\/a> workbook is also included; this resource helps to intentionally process and understand psychedelic experiences and bring the lessons into daily life.<\/p>\n
